The relationship between Andrea Agnelli and Steven Zhang has not deteriorated, despite the Super League chaos last year.

The Derby d’Italia is a key game for both Juventus and Inter this evening, with the Bianconeri looking to further tighten their grip on 4th and the Nerazzurri desperate to stay involved in the title race. Whilst the fans are bitterly divided, things are not the same at management level.

As detailed by Tuttosport, Agnelli and Zhang maintain a positive relationship and they plan to meet this evening in the stands of the Allianz Stadium in Turin. During the pandemic years, they stayed in regular contract by phone.

Both arrived in their positions as club presidents at a young age, with Agnelli taking the reins at Juventus at the age of 35 and Zhang doing the same with Inter at 26. Both believe it’s necessary for them to maintain a good relationship for the benefit of Italian football as whole, pushing for modernisation and a common vision.
