Andrea Stramaccioni admits “it was impossible to continue like that” after he was sacked by Sparta Prague following a row.

The club fired the former Inter and Udinese boss today following a draw with Zbrojovka Brno.

It’s reported the decision was made after Stramaccioni had a blazing row with director of sport Zdenek Scasny in the locker room following the game.

“I thank the President for his efforts, but after recent events, it was impossible to continue like that,” Stramaccioni told Calciomercato.com.

The pair clashed regularly and it’s suggested Scasny would give directions to the team from the touchline, contradicting what Stramaccioni had told them.
