Udinese will be without Antonio Di Natale against Palermo. “We have to change our approach,” said Andrea Stramaccioni.

“We all hoped Di Natale wouldn’t miss out, but he hurt his knee and the fitness test gave a negative response,” confirmed the Coach in a Press conference.

“Moving to a system with one striker would mean having to change our approach. Thereau can play well both with Di Natale and Muriel, as at times he becomes a trequartista, even if I prefer him to stay close to the goal.”

Udinese are fresh from a shock 4-2 home defeat to Genoa that infuriated Stramaccioni, while tomorrow’s opponents Palermo beat Milan at San Siro last week.

“Palermo are in a great moment of form, the victory over Milan was well-deserved and not just down to taking a couple of chances.

“We want to give a response on the field to this interesting test. The lads must do their talking on the pitch.

“Against Genoa it was our third game in seven days and we did better in the second half, but they were smart to make the most of our distractions.”
