Andrea Stramaccioni still has fond memories of his time at Inter and wishes successor Walter Mazzarri the best of luck.

The 38-year-old was replaced as Coach at the Nerazzurri last summer, but even in seeing predecessor Mazzarri similarly struggle for consistency, there is no ill will.

“Inter will always remain in my heart. What happened in the two years I have been in Milan, lived in the colours of the Nerazzurri, I cannot forget,” Stramaccioni has told Sky Sport Italia this week.

“Anything to say to Walter Mazzarri? I will just congratulate him, I hope that Inter can get to the top and achieve the goals that they have set themselves.

“I am convinced that the club can finish the season in the best possible way, in spite of the bad luck.”
