Frosinone Coach Roberto Stellone had “huge doubts” on the Milan penalty that sealed their 3-3 draw at San Siro.

The Canarini had been 3-1 up and Francesco Bardi already parried one spot-kick, but in the final minute Vasyl Pryima was penalised for handball.

“It’s a shame, as we played so well with sacrifice against a team of great champions that is not going through a good moment,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

“Milan have quality and kept a lot of possession, but we did well to score three goals. Towards the end we got too deep protecting the lead and effectively threw two points away.

“I think there are huge doubts over the penalty, because Pryima was right next to Mario Balotelli, it’s not as if he could make his arm magically disappear.

“The first penalty was clear, but on the second one I have big doubts. You can’t jump for a header with your arms by your side.

“If that was a penalty, then so was the chance in the first half when Riccardo Montolivo blocked a Federico Dionisi shot. The dynamics of the move were similar.

“Safety is difficult, but not mathematically impossible. With six points up for grabs, there is still a little hope. Next Sunday against Sassuolo we have to give our best and hope others do as well.

“I did not understand the situation when Balotelli was already booked, handballed and was not given another yellow card.

“Aside from everything, I am proud of my lads, as they put in a wonderful performance in a great stadium. I also thank the fans who followed us here, even if we have one foot in Serie B.”
