The starting line-ups for today’s friendly between Juventus and HNK Rijeka have been announced.

The Bianconeri are ready for their second friendly of the World Cup break, working to prepare for a busy second half of the season. Massimiliano Allegri’s side started the campaign poorly but began to recover and climb up the table in the run-up to the tournament in Qatar, giving them an outside hope of a Scudetto bid in the coming months.

Allegri has decided to deploy the 3-5-2 formation again for Juventus, bringing back in a number of World Cup stars to the team. Wojciech Szczesny has returned after the tournament alongside Filip Kostic and Arkadiusz Milik.

Multiple youngsters will also start against HNK Rijeka, including Dean Huijsen, who is replacing the unwell Daniele Rugani, and Alessandro Riccio. Dusan Vlahovic is still absent due to a slight injury concern.

Juventus’ last friendly before the return of Serie A is against Standard Liege on December 30.
