Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to signing Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.

A deal to take Dybala to Tottenham has accelerated in the last couple of days, with a fee of around €75m already agreed.

Now, according to BBC Sport, Spurs are ‘hopeful’ of bringing in the Argentine before Thursday’s 17:00 BST transfer deadline for Premier League clubs.

Sky Sport Italia also writes negotiations are still ongoing but stresses Spurs have yet to reach an agreement over personal terms and image rights.

The 26-year-old had looked set for Manchester United, with Romelu Lukaku heading to Juve in exchange, but he was unwilling to join the Red Devils.

Lukaku is now his way to Inter, with the Nerazzurri signing the striker for a club-record fee in the region of €75m.
