Massimiliano Allegri has come under intense scrutiny this season at San Siro, but the 53-year-old has quashed rumours he may become the new man in charge of the Milanese giants.

“I'm too old to coach Milan,” he told a Press conference. “I still want to continue in Russia anyway.

“I have a good relationship with the President and have only just renewed my contract. However, in the future I would like to coach in England.”

He also made a surprise admission regarding Stephan El Shaarawy.

“El Shaarawy is a beautiful player,” he said. “He was proposed to me even back when I was at Empoli” data-scaytid=”10″>Empoli [in 1998].”
