Coach Luciano Spalletti believes Inter “reached the goal we had to reach” with the imminent signing of Radja Nainggolan.

The Belgian midfielder took his medical today and visited the club’s headquarters this evening to sign his contract.

While the transfer won’t be officially announced until tomorrow, a deal is done for €24m plus Nicolò Zaniolo and Davide Santon.

“I’m satisfied,” Spalletti told reporters as he left the meeting with Nainggolan and sporting director Piero Ausilio.

“We’ve reached the goal we had to reach, but it’s better that the director [Ausilio] talks about it.”
