Inter boss Luciano Spalletti claims “I’d take Max Allegri” from Juventus, as opposed to any of their players.

Inter face Juve in the Derby d’Italia on Saturday, with the Nerazzurri two points clear of the Scudetto holders going into the Turin tussle, and Spalletti made it clear only a win would do for his side and their hopes of a first title in eight years.

“Now we have a precise identity and we know that we can compete at these levels,” the Coach said at a Press conference.

“In order to achieve our objectives, we’ll need plenty of points and every game must be an opportunity to pick up more. That’s why we’re going to Turin to win.

“We’re not playing against a team third in the table but one that have reached the Champions League Final twice in recent years.

“Brozovic? I have five starters in midfield: I’ll make decisions, but I won’t say who plays right now.

“Vecino? He’s recovered. Borja Valero in midfield or as a No 10? He does well wherever he plays.

“We’ll need to show character right from the first ball, also because Allegri’s one of the best in changing the face of his team during a match.

“We must be good at always answering them with the right move and play with the right attitude.

“Ultimately, however, this is the Derby d’Italia, with all the responsibilities that it entails, but we mustn’t get too fired up.

“Who I’d take from Juve? I like my players but, if I had to, I’d take Allegri.”
