Spalletti was appointed Inter’s new Coach last month, and Ausilio feels the former Roma boss has what it takes to give the Nerazzurri’s existing players “a new lease of life”.
“Sometimes the market isn’t enough on its own,” the sporting director said at a seminar for journalists, reports Corriere dello Sport.

Spalletti was appointed Inter’s new Coach last month, and Ausilio feels the former Roma boss has what it takes to give the Nerazzurri’s existing players “a new lease of life”.
“Sometimes the market isn’t enough on its own,” the sporting director said at a seminar for journalists, reports Corriere dello Sport.
“Sometimes it may be enough to choose the right Coach and give a new lease of life to those who are already at the club and therefore exploit the resources that are already present.
“Sometimes you get carried away by the media frenzy and you end up losing time and money.
“There are many examples of players who have relaunched themselves by changing team or changing Coach after just one season.
“For example, Gagliardini, who struggled for years, started out as a reserve and was then promoted by Gasperini.
“This is all thanks to a Coach who has been able to exploit the resources he already had at his disposal.”
