Fiorentina Coach Paulo Sousa says Giuseppe Rossi is ‘a phenomenon’ but is still ‘in the process of rehabilitation.’

“Rossi can always play, although we must understand that he’s in the process of rehabilitation,” he said at today’s pre-match Press conference.

“Rossi can always play, although we must understand that he’s in the process of rehabilitation,” he said at today’s pre-match Press conference.
“We’re waiting for him because he is a phenomenon, being aware that he must be handled the right way to get him to his level.
“We must be satisfied with our position and, accepting constructive criticism, we will continue to work and follow our best route forward.
“We don’t train much and we must rotate our players because we have many commitments. We have to recover energy quickly.
“We must continue on our path. We’re playing at home tomorrow and we must try to create as much as possible to be able to win.
“Today everyone trained. Vecino didn’t feel pain, while others did a little, but they are joint pains, so we aren’t worried.
“Mario has arrived from another kind of football. He’s an important player with outstanding characteristics that are improving with time. He needs a few more matches to further improve.
“Bologna defend very well and are growing, but they don’t press as much as the previous teams we’ve faced. I expect a proactive team that will want to make it difficult for us.
Sousa also commented on the comparisons some have been making between him and former Italy CT Giovanni Trapattoni.
"We always want to be ourselves but when you make such great comparisons, like with Trapattoni, then I must be happy.
“When I arrived I said I wanted to compare with great Coaches and he certainly was.”
