Coach Paulo Sousa is “not worried” by Fiorentina, despite a heavy defeat at Roma on Friday night.

The Viola went down 4-1 at Stadio Olimpico, handing the advantage to the Giallorossi in the fight for the third and final Champions League spot.

“We have to start again from tomorrow afternoon,” Sousa told reporters outside Coverciano.

“From the start I realised that I had the opportunity to work with lads who are competitive players with a huge desire to grow both individually and as a collective.

“It’s not a matter of being worried. It was a game in which Roma did very well and we were a bit disappointing.

“The lads are having a wonderful season, giving everything they have and even what they don’t have.”
