Fiorentina Coach Paulo Sousa insists he’s not worried, despite three defeats in a row.

The Viola lost to Roma on Sunday night, adding to defeat to Napoli and a Europa League reverse at home to Lech Poznan.

“Am I worried? I am not,” Sousa told journalists in his Press conference ahead of the Verona match.

“I’m seeing individual and collective quality in the lads which gives me confidence. We need to have the desire to win, and I’m sure if we do that we’ll be consistent to the end.

“We always want to impose our principles, we want to make the play and be solid. Against Roma we created plenty, but we weren’t clinical, despite 20 shots on goal.

“I want the fans to be proud of what they see on the pitch, even when maybe the wrong decisions are made.

“I want to see pride in the shirt, grit and will to win.”

Sousa was also asked if he was considering partnering Nikola Kalinin with Giuseppe Rossi, who missed the entirety of last season with a knee injury.

“We’ve been waiting for him since after [pre-season training in] Moena, and I’m happy with the extraordinary work my staff are doing with Giuseppe.

“I want Florence to enjoy Giuseppe for a long time, that’s why we’re working this way with him. Now we want to have him consistently on the pitch.”
