The Spaniard has arrived at the Rossoneri this summer on a two-year loan deal from Chelsea looking to rejuvenate his career after some difficult years at Stamford Bridge.

For one former player at Milanello, who also had a taste of the Premier League during his playing career, the striker is a welcome and highly capable addition.

“Torres is a very humble player, he has great technical and human qualities,” Eranio has told milannews.it today.

“In recent years he has not been in contention much and has spent a long time on the Chelsea bench.

“But he is a diesel, he needs to play to find his form. He needs the confidence of the Coach and to make the most of his surroundings.

“As a Coach, I say that I would always want someone like Torres in the team. He arrives in Italy with great enthusiasm, and has specific characteristics that would suit Milan perfectly.

“Pazzini is in fact not always physically fit, so it is right to have two for the role with their particular qualities.

“Inzaghi can play with one striker or two. Torres and Pazzini are smart guys and can absolutely play together.”
