La Gazzetta dello Sport were embarrassed by French club Sochaux, as they used a picture of Florentin Pogba rather than Paul on their front page.

Today’s edition of the national sports newspaper included a story about Pogba’s imminent return to Juventus as a free agent after his spell at Manchester United.

Unfortunately, they used an image of Florentin Pogba, Paul’s 31-year-old brother, who plays as a centre-back for Sochaux.

There is another brother in the family who plays professional football, Florentin’s twin Mathias, although he is currently out of contract.

Sochaux’s social media account pointed out the error, asking ‘What is our Flo doing there?’

It is a public holiday in Italy today, so perhaps someone in the editorial team was already planning their vacation.

Sochaux fans on Twitter joked that they should use the misunderstanding to charge Juventus for Florentin Pogba’s signature as well.

Curiously, because Paul Pogba is out of contract, Florentin would be more expensive on the transfer market right now.
