The Serbia international arrived in Rome this morning and underwent routine medical tests taken by all players returning after a summer break.

And TMW Web claims that, during an exchange with a Biancocelesti supporter outside the Paideia centre, the 23-year-old answered a question about his future.

“Definitely. You can see that I am here,” Milinkovic-Savic is quoted to have said in response to a being asked whether he was staying.

The midfielder has been heavily linked with a big money transfer to leading clubs around Europe, with Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea all rumoured to be interested in securing his signature.

His whereabouts were feared when he did not show up at Paideia for his medical tests yesterday morning, as was originally planned.

However, agent Mateja Kezman later insisted that his client had simply missed a flight out of Belgrade due to heavy traffic and would return a day later.
