Manchester United have reportedly asked for €20m to let Smalling leave Old Trafford, whilst Arsenal could expect a similar amount to release Mkhitaryan on a permanent deal this summer.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma might not have the required resources to keep the couple at Trigoria for the next season but will get to keep the pair for the remainder of the season in the event of a resumption that exceeds the initial deal.
