Paris Saint-Germain have finally agreed a deal to sign Inter striker Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis.

Transfer experts Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano, reporting for Sky Sport Italia, claim PSG will pay €50m plus €7m in easy-to-reach bonuses for Icardi.

The French giants had a €70m option to buy, but Inter have instead accepted a reduced fee in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

The deal should be ratified tomorrow, thus ensuring the Nerazzurri’s first piece of business for next season.

The 26-year-old moved to Parc des Princes on a season-long loan at the end of the transfer window last summer.

He scored 20 goals in 31 appearances for PSG before the 2019-20 campaign was ended prematurely in France.

Despite that, the Argentine won a Ligue 1 winner’s medal after his side were awarded the title.
