Sky Sport Italia claim Manchester United and agent Mino Raiola met Juventus today to offer €101m for Paul Pogba.

According to pundit Gianluca Di Marzio this evening, the first actual encounter between the clubs occurred today.

Agent Raiola was present along with Juventus director general Beppe Marotta and Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

The opening offer is €101m (£85m), but Juventus are demanding at least €120m (£101m) plus performance-related bonuses.

This does not include the commission that Raiola would reap from the record-breaking move.

Sky Sport Italia note this is the first time Juventus have taken into consideration the possibility Pogba might want to leave.

If they did sell Pogba to Manchester United, he’d show up on the books as pure profit, having signed him as a free agent after his contract with the Old Trafford side expired in 2012.

This evening Mediaset Premium painted a different picture, claiming Manchester United came straight in with the €120m offer.
