Sky Sport Italia now reports Paulo Dybala has a €12m clause valid for foreign clubs, while teams in Italy can buy La Joya for €20m, although the Giallorossi have the power to block his exit.

The Italian broadcasters reported last summer that Dybala’s release clause was worth €20m and was valid for every club in Europe. However, they have now changed their stance, following reports that the Argentinean’s clause is worth €12m for clubs outside Serie A.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio confirms Dybala can leave Italy for such a low fee at the end of the season.

Sources in Spain and England have linked the Argentinean with a move to Manchester United, but such a release clause would be appealing for many other foreign clubs in June.

Sky Sport Italia report Serie A clubs have a €20m clause but the 20% belongs to Dybala, contrary to the clause for foreign clubs.

If an Italian club pay the clause in the summer, Roma can block the striker’s exit by raising his salary from €3.8m to €6m per year. Such a clause can’t be used with foreign clubs who could buy Dybala for just €12m next summer.
