“I expect an angry and ruthless Bianconeri, but it applies to us too: the stadium will give us a hand to win,” the former Sampdoria stopper told La Repubblica.

“I expect an angry and ruthless Bianconeri, but it applies to us too: the stadium will give us a hand to win,” the former Sampdoria stopper told La Repubblica.
“The crisis that we’ve overcome has made us stronger. They have great forwards and midfielders, but in the last nine games, we’ve conceded only twice.
“I like to guess what an attacker will do, steal the ball and recycle play. At Napoli, against Insigne, I was often able to do that and it was satisfying.
“The forwards that attack space but help out off the ball, like Belotti and Simeone, are always difficult to face, while those who run less, like Higuain and Dzeko, are lethal in the box.
“The best defender? Koulibaly is in Serie A and Sergio Ramos is in Europe. Inter ever-present? I feel the hard work, but the important thing is recovery, and I know my body.
“After that, I’m living a dream. Believe me, I’d never have thought of finding myself here at Inter.
“Now I want to be perfect for Inter and take them to the Champions League. I don’t know what’ll happen in the future, but I want to make it happen in a Nerazzurri jersey.”
