Salvatore Sirigu says he has had ‘no contact’ with Roma, but warns he wants to be a starter at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian international’s future has come into question after the Ligue 1 champions recruited German ‘keeper Kevin Trapp.

“At the moment, my future is here [at PSG],” Sirigu insisted, speaking to Sky after the friendly win over Fiorentina.

“I haven’t heard from anyone, and until I hear otherwise I’ll be here and giving my best in training. I’ve always felt like a starter here, although of course there can be different choices.

“I’m not going to throw away all the years of sacrifice I’ve made to just calmly accept that I’m finished as a player as many have said.

“Roma? There’s been no contact, these rumours make me laugh."
