Fabio Simplicio is the latest Roma player linked with an early exit from the club as rumours suggest he is looking to Japan.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Brazilian midfielder is ready to terminate his Giallorosso contract a year early as he has a lucrative three-year deal lined up with an as-yet-unnamed Japanese J-League outfit.

The 32-year-old, who arrived in Italy at Parma in 2004 and has also played for Palermo, has been with the capital club since 2010 and at the moment still has a year left on his contract.

Should Simplicio be granted an early rescission on his deal then he will be the second Roma player to do so this summer after compatriot Juan.

Simplicio has made 43 appearances for Roma in two years, scoring eight goals along the way.
