Former Milan winger Marco Simone has been announced as the new Coach of French side Tours.

The former Italian international has been out of a job since leaving FC Lausanne, but will take over the Ligue 2 side for next season, the club has announced on its official Twitter page.

The 46-year-old has previous experience in the division, having taken charge of Monaco in the 2011/12 season.

Simone enjoyed enormous success in his playing days with the Rossoneri, winning four Serie A titles and lifting the Champions League trophy on two occasions.
