On Saturday evening a group of reporters were waiting outside a restaurant for him to finish dinner with his son, Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone.
They asked for more clarification on the Inter comments, but this time Cholo refused to give any statement.
He recently agreed with Atletico Madrid to shorten his contract to June 2018, suggesting he’s got a future job lined up elsewhere.
This week Inter hired Stefano Pioli to replace sacked Frank de Boer and his contract also runs to June 2018.
Simeone spent some of his playing career at Inter and always said he’d love to return as a tactician one day.
