Thiago Silva claims Paris Saint-Germain “are the best team I’ve played for” as opposed to Milan.

Silva won the 2010-11 Scudetto in a Milan side that contained the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso and Clarence Seedorf, while the defender has been linked with a return to Serie A in recent months.

However, the 32-year-old extended his PSG contract until 2020 last month, and he is keen to retire with the French giants, whom he classifies as superior to the Rossoneri.

“I’m the captain of this team and this is also fantastic.

“I hope to stay in Paris beyond the expiry of my contract because I’m not going to stop playing in 2020.”
