Xherdan Shaqiri assures he has no problems with Inter Coach Roberto Mancini, and discusses the club’s aims for next year.
The Swiss international arrived from Bayern Munich in January, but fell out of favour toward the end of the season, leading to speculation of a rift with the Coach.
“No, I was a player he wanted,” Shaqiri told Blick when asked if he had a problem with Mancini.
“I only had half a season at Inter, I don’t regret leaving Bayern Munich in the winter at all.

“It takes time to return to the successes of the past, and above all we need new players. We want to return to the Champions League.
“Being outside of European competition will be tough, but at least we’ll have a few days off [during the week].”
Shaqiri also gave his backing to the club’s President, Erick Thohir.
“We see him a lot. He comes and visits us, and tells us about his dreams and ambitions, which match mine.”
