Maurizio Sarri’s agent speaks about the Coach’s appointment at Napoli – ‘he couldn’t believe it when he finally signed the contract’.
The former Empoli Coach was confirmed as the man to replace Rafa Benitez on the San Paolo bench, and his representative spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli about the appointment.
“The new Coach is happy he’ll be on the Azzurri bench,” Alessandro Pellegrini told the radio station.

“He couldn’t believe it when he finally signed the contract with [Aurelio] De Laurentiis’ club. What he achieved with Empoli was remarkable.
“Napoli chose Sarri because he’s a Coach who knows how to get the best out of young players, and brings good football.
“He’s a Coach who wants to bring his ideas and and work with a great technical system. You have to put the players in a position where they can do well.”
