Xherdan Shaqiri has insisted that he will stay at Bayern Munich until 2016, denying rumours of a switch to Roma or Juventus.

The Switzerland international had previously told reporters that he would be open to a move to the Bianconeri.

But the youngster has taken to Facebook to claim that he will be in Bavaria for at least another two years.

“Enough with these rumours,” he posted on the social network. “I have a contract with Bayern Munich until 2016.

“My agents are in constant contact with the leaders of the club and there is no valid reason to speculate on my future.

“During this period, many things are written, but few are true.

“I am on holiday and do not speak with reporters or other clubs.”
