Torino face competition to sign Valencia’s Simone Zaza, with Sevilla reportedly bidding €15m for the forward.

The Italy international, formerly of Juventus and Sassuolo, has been linked with a move to the Granata throughout the summer.

Toro are understood to have made a similar offer to Sevilla for the 27-year-old, who scored 13 goals for Los Che last season.

And TMW Web reports that Valencia have told their La Liga counterparts to up their offer to a figure closer to €25m.

The Italian sports website believes the Spanish club would rather sell to Toro, given their reluctance to do business with a team likely to be among their main rivals this season.

However, they could sell to Sevilla if the Andalusians outbid the Stadio Olimpico club by a significant amount.
