Sevilla have reportedly identified Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente as a replacement for Juventus target Steven N’Zonzi.

The claim was made by Estadio Deportivo after Llorente was left out of Madrid’s squad for their Supercopa de Espana first leg against Barcelona on Sunday.

The 22-year-old is a Blancos youth product and spent last season on loan at Alaves, where he impressed in a deep-lying, midfield role – similar to the one played by N’Zonzi.

Juve remain interested in N’Zonzi but are not prepared to pay his €40m release clause, while the Frenchman has also attracted interest from Manchester City and Arsenal.
