Surely won the points for Inter with several magnificent saves, particularly when he faced off Jonathan Biabiany’s terrific chip. Also made crucial interventions when dealing with Gianluca Sansone and Marco Parolo’s strong efforts.
Jonathan [Inter]
An excellent performance as he controlled the right flank and defended well, while also finding time and space for several menacing crosses. Always an outlet for his teammates, it was his pass that set up Tomasso Rocchi’s winning goal.
Massimo Paci [Siena]
A giant at the back and arguably the best player on the park. The veteran also caused problems at set-pieces and had a headed goal harshly ruled out for a foul. Certainly didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
Giorgio Chiellini [Juventus” data-scaytid=”12″>Juventus]
Always alert to any problems posed by the visitors and organised a defence that ably supported an aggressive midfield. Stopped any incursions into his zone of operations and was always one step ahead of the Milan forwards.
Pablo Armero [Napoli]
Only played half the game but immediately brought intensity and action down the left flank. Always ready to put a tackle in and in the final few seconds produced the assist for the winning goal.

Started off on the right foot and scored the opener after cleverly hooking the ball over a surprised ‘keeper from the edge of the box. Continued to get forward at every opportunity and narrowly missed scoring again.
Luca Cigarini [Atalanta” data-scaytid=”21″>Atalanta]
A Man of the Match display from Il Professore, whose intelligent reading of the game meant that Atalanta’s raids into the hosts’ half were precise and organised. It was from his corner that the visitors’ grabbed the equaliser.
Arturo Vidal [Juventus]
Won the game with a picture perfect penalty that pummelled the top corner of the net. As usual he put in a muscular and athletic performance that saw him step up another level in the second half.
Mario Alberto Santana [Torino]
The former Fiorentina midfielder was a constant menace to the Viola defence on and off the ball. Following his assist for the opener, after a superb exchange of passes, he slotted the ball into the bottom right hand corner.
Piotr Zielinski [Udinese” data-scaytid=”34″>Udinese]
Always presenting problems to the Lazio” data-scaytid=”38″>Lazio defence, the teenager set up several goal-scoring opportunities, especially on the counter-attack and almost scored himself.
Gianluca Sansone [Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”42″>Sampdoria]
Was the visitors’ guiding light and played with a lightness of touch that at times baffled Bologna. Always ready to step up, he scored the equaliser after tearing into the box to slam an angled drive home.
