Nigerian Serie A strikers Victor Osimhen and Nwanwko Simy scored a goal each against Atalanta and Juventus respectively and celebrated by showing a shirt against Nigeria’s Police brutality.

The first one to do so was the Napoli striker who netted the Azzurri’s fourth goal on their afternoon against La Dea on Saturday. Simy followed him in the evening clash at Crotone’s Stadio Ezio Scida where the locals held Juventus to a 1-1 draw.

The first one to do so was the Napoli striker who netted the Azzurri’s fourth goal on their afternoon against La Dea on Saturday. Simy followed him in the evening clash at Crotone’s Stadio Ezio Scida where the locals held Juventus to a 1-1 draw.

Both players showed a shirt with the same message “#EndPoliceBrutality in Negeria” referring to the violence perpetuated in their country by Police.

“It is a difficult time for Nigeria and I hope that my nation and my fellow citizens will be able to get out of this situation as soon as possible,” said Simy.

“From here we do what we can, it’s little but we do it.”
