Milan and Fikayo Tomori try to put the Chelsea controversy behind them and Yacine Adli starts in a tricky trip to Verona, who debut under new coach Salvatore Bocchetti.

It kicks off at the Stadio Bentegodi at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s five Serie A games on the LIVEBLOG.

The Rossoneri are still fuming after their midweek Champions League home defeat to Chelsea, a game ruined after just 18 minutes with a very harsh penalty and red card for Tomori.

The injury crisis remains extensive, missing Charles De Ketelaere, Mike Maignan, Simon Kjaer, Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The big news is that with a 4-3-3 formation confirmed, Yacine Adli gets his first start for the club, having made just three substitute appearances.

Adli was perhaps their most impressive player in pre-season and then disappeared, left off the Champions League list too.

Because Lazio and Udinese drew 0-0 today, a victory would send Milan clear in third place.

Verona sacked Gabriele Cioffi after last week’s stoppage-time defeat to Salernitana, linked with Diego Lopez before opting to promote former defender Salvatore Bocchetti from the Primavera youth team job.

Federico Ceccherini sits out a ban, with Ivan Ilic, Kevin Lasagna, Darko Lazovic, Pawel Dawidowicz and Diego Coppola all carrying knocks.

Verona: Montipò; Hien, Gunter, Magnani; Faraoni, Tameze, Veloso, Depaoli; Hrustic, Verdi; Henry

Milan: Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Adli, Tonali, Krunic; Brahim Diaz, Giroud, Rafael Leao
