Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has recovered and is ready to start against Hellas Verona, but Nicolò Barella will go to the bench and Romelu Lukaku is not available.

It kicks off at 19.45 GMT.

Both Calhanoglu and Barella suffered minor muscle injuries against Monza last week, but have both recovered. The Turkey international is expected to start in the middle of the park, while Barella will be on the bench.

Either Kristjan Asllani or Roberto Gagliardini will get the nod in central midfield with Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Marcelo Brozovic, Samir Handanovic and Romelu Lukaku are not available due to injuries.

Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to start up front. The ex-Roma forward has scored four goals against Verona in his career.

Davide Faraoni and Simone Verdi are injured, but Kevin Lasagna is back for the Gialloblu who won their first match after 10 defeats in a row last weekend. They haven’t won two games in a row in a year.

Inter have scored 19 goals in the opening 45 minutes this season, more than any other team, while Verona conceded 20 in the second halves, a negative record in Serie A so far.
