Carlos Augusto is expected to start over Federico Dimarco for Inter against Fiorentina, while Nico Gonzalez could play his first Serie A game in over a month for the Tuscans.

It kicks off at 19:45 GMT at the Stadio Franchi in Florence.

The Nerazzurri have a chance to overtake Juventus at the top of the Serie A table with a victory but are without the suspended Nicolò Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu, plus the injured Juan Cuadrado.

Kristjan Asllani and Davide Frattesi will likely replace Barella and Calhanoglu, but Simone Inzaghi could further rotate by starting Carlos Augusto on the left flank and Stevan de Vrij in central defence, leaving Dimarco and Francesco Acerbi initially on the bench.

Fiorentina are without the suspended Cristiano Biraghi plus Dodo and Gaetano Castrovilli (injured) and Christian Kouamé (AFCON), but Nico Gonzalez could start his first Serie A match in nearly a month.

Michael Kayode is the favourite over Marco Davide Faraoni as a right-back, while Parisi will start on the left-hand side of the defence, replacing the captain Biraghi.

The Viola sit fifth in the Serie A table, but are just two points below Atalanta and have a game in hand.
