Milan and Inter target Stefano Sensi of Cesena says ‘a year with a small Serie A club would be good for me.’

The Italy Under-20 international is reportedly being chased by both San Siro sides, but believes that his development would benefit from starting on a smaller stage.

The 20-year-old is currently plying his trade in Serie B and has scored twice in 16 appearances so far this season.

“The interest from Inter? Mancini’s compliments make me proud,” Sensi said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Milan? I don’t pay attention to the transfer market, I want to isolate myself.

“I’m thinking about doing my work at Cesena.

“Better to reach Serie A in the market or with Cesena? A year with a small club in Serie A would be good for me, if we can get there with Cesena it would be great.

“I want to grow slowly but surely: one brick on top of another to build a huge wall.”
