Former Roma chief Rosella Sensi has hit back at current owner James Pallotta, after the American accused the previous regime of mismanagement.

In an article with the Financial Times on Monday, Pallotta claimed that under Sensi's stewardship, Roma had failed in their brand expansion.

But the 41-year-old Italian entrepeneur has insisted that is not the case.

“I do not have the pleasure of knowing President Pallotta,” she told Centro Suono Sport.

“But his comments are out of place.

“It is true that we focused a lot on the technical side, but it is also true that we did many other things.”
