Semplici's side are in the bottom three he knows they need to win to bolster their chances of survival.

"From here until the end of the season every game wll be difficult and we must deal with the psychological pressure. We know what our path is and the difficulties that lie ahead. We also know of the things that have to be improved. On our part there is a big desire to have a good game tomorrow."

Andrea Petagna and Gabriel Strefezza were slight doubts leading into the fixture, but Semplici confirms have both fully recovered.

"They are both fine and will be available for selection tomorrow. I want a team that wants to get on the ball and makes things happen and will bring home important points against a very difficult side.

"We have to go on to the pitch and produce a very good performance. I don't know the formation as of yet, but I will discuss it with my staff.

"Genoa did very well against Juventus and Napoli. We will have to be focused, agressive and limit their dribbling. We will have to break up their play. We need to produce more of what we've done in the last few games in order to achieve the result we want, and get into a position that is in keeping with our objectives."

SPAL lie 19th in Serie A, with only two wins.
