Leonardo Semplici insists he “won’t make wholesale changes” to the SPAL line-up, as he’s focused on beating Lecce in the Coppa Italia.

The winners of Wednesday’s match will go on to face Milan in the Round of 16 next month.

“It’s true that we have a big Serie A game with Brescia coming up at the weekend, but it is only right that we focus only on Lecce right now,” said the coach in his press conference.

“We want to do well and get through to the next phase, so that means putting in a good performance and building on the second half showing at Inter.

“I won’t make wholesale changes to the team, maybe two or three players will alternate to ensure I can evaluate everyone’s form going into the Brescia match.

“Gabriel Strefezza and Jacopo Sala are unlikely to recover for the weekend, but Gabriele Moncini and Alberto Paloschi are available for tomorrow. Bosko Jankovic will play.”
