“Inter have a squad with so much quality and are one of the best in Italy, along with Juventus, but the key word for us will be courage,” said Semplici in his press conference.

“We must have a positive and aggressive approach, putting in an extraordinary performance to bring home an important result.

“Gabriel Strefezza has recovered, although he only trained with the rest of the group today, while Nenad Tomovic and Thiago Cionek looked good in training.

“I don’t believe in bad luck, so I saw it’s entirely up to SPAL to turn this situation around. We must be determined both in defending and attacking Inter, going above and beyond our limits.

“This is a match where we have nothing to lose, so need to play with character and desire.”
