Lazio have announced that the Stadio Olimpico is “completely sold out” for the Champions League showdown with Inter.

The Biancocelesti will secure a place in the top four if they avoid defeat on Sunday night, but the head-to-head record means Luciano Spalletti’s side will take the final Champions League place if they win.

It was reported this week that the Beneamata would take 12,000 to the capital for the game, and the hosts have now confirmed that the home end is sold out too.

“The stadium will be a great satisfaction on Sunday, a great spectacle,” marketing manager Marco Canigiani told Lazio Style Channel.

“Tickets are completely sold out, but fans who are not yet in possession of a ticket can still try to find a free seat following any cancellations or free places in the last hours.

“For this reason, online sales for Lazio-Inter will remain open until kick-off.”

Fans are also advised to “arrive a little earlier than usual”.
