Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic left Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar in tears after a heavy challenge left the Brazilian forward with a serious-looking ankle injury.
The 30-year-old was taken off with 11 minutes left to play following the tackle and was visibly upset on the bench, covering his face with his shirt to hide his tears. He was later seen examining his swollen ankle, prompting fears that he may have suffered a severe ankle sprain.
Brazil will be hoping to recover Neymar before the knock-out stages of the World Cup, which kick off in the coming weeks.
