David Seaman claims Aaron Ramsey should not be joining Juventus, “a club which is not really as big as Arsenal.”

The Wales international has signed a contract for next season, where he will move as a free agent after his current deal with the Gunners was allowed to expire.

“Arsenal will remember Aaron Ramsey with great fondness,” former England goalkeeper Seaman told TalkSport.

“He's a great player and the most frustrating part about all this is he's playing even better now, and he's going to leave.

“He's a great player and the most frustrating part about all this is he's playing even better now, and he's going to leave.

“It's the same thing again, another great player is leaving our club to go to another club which is not really as big as Arsenal. For me, it's so frustrating that they couldn't do that deal. He'll probably get voted player of the year.”

Seaman is the second former England international to claim Juventus are “a smaller club than Arsenal” after Tony Adams in March.

Juve just secured their eighth consecutive Serie A title, signed Cristiano Ronaldo and reached the Champions League Final twice in the last five seasons.
