Patrik Schick returned to Sampdoria training today after his Juventus transfer collapsed due to heart problems. “I’m happy to be back.”
The 21-year-old striker had been due to make his move to Juve this summer, but failed a medical when a non-life-threatening cardiac issue was discovered.
“I feel good, the smile is always on my face,” Schick told Sky Sport Italia as he walked into the Bogliasco training centre this afternoon.
“I’m happy to be back.”

It’s still not clear whether Schick will remain at Sampdoria this season or move elsewhere, as Inter, Tottenham Hotspur and other clubs are interested.
