The Crociati overcame Verona 2-0 on Sunday to move up to sixth position, thanks to goals from the former Inter man and Jonathan Biabiany.

However, with the Europa League potentially on the horizon, Schelotto has insisted that his side have to take each game as it comes.

“I’m delighted with my goal yesterday,” he told the Parma Channel. “The team is playing fantastically well and everything is going our way at the moment.

“Goals are great, but I just try and do my best for the Coach whenever he calls me into the team.

“We can’t be frightened [by the prospect of Europe]. We have to continue playing like this.

“We knew it was an important game yesterday, but now we have to look ahead to the difficult challenge against Milan.”
