Schalke 04 directors confirm “it’s all done” with Juventus to take Marko Pjaca on loan. “We just need his signature and a medical.”

The Croatia international needs regular playing time to find his form after six months out with a serious knee ligament injury.

Although Wolfsburg, Zenit, Bologna and Sassuolo had also shown an interest, Pjaca is heading to the Bundesliga.

“It’s all done for Pjaca now,” director of sport Christian Heidel told Sky Sport Deutschland.

Although Wolfsburg, Zenit, Bologna and Sassuolo had also shown an interest, Pjaca is heading to the Bundesliga.

“It’s all done for Pjaca now,” director of sport Christian Heidel told Sky Sport Deutschland.

“We have Juve’s word, we just need his signature on the contract and the medical. It should all be completed tomorrow in Benidorm.”

As the Bundesliga is on its Winter break, the team is at a training camp in Spain.

It’s believed Schalke will pay €1m for the six-month loan, plus €0.5m in bonuses and his full salary during that period.

However, Heidel denied suggestions this deal included a discount for Benedikt Howedes, who is currently at Juventus on loan with option to buy.

“No, his name never came up in the conversation.”
