West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca is expected to fly to Italy on Saturday in order to complete a medical ahead of a permanent move to Atalanta according to reports. 

Multiple sources have confirmed that Atalanta have a deal in place with West Ham for the former Sassuolo man worth a total €30m, made up of €25m plus €5m in add ons. 

La Dea, already using the cash from Rasmus Hojlund’s imminent move to Manchester United, were able to overcome interest in Scamacca from the likes of Inter and Roma

Fabrizio Romano reported on Saturday morning that Scamacca is booked in for a medical in Italy and is expected to fly over to Bergamo later today. 

Romano also highlights that West Ham will be entitled to a 10% sell on clause. 

Meanwhile, Atalanta also reportedly have an agreement in place with Milan for Charles De Ketelaere, who is expected to join on loan for a €3m fee with the option to make the move permanent for another €23m at the end of the season.
