Multiple sources maintain Genoa have agreed a deal to take Italy Under-21 striker Gianluca Scamacca on loan from Sassuolo.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb, the two clubs are very close a full agreement.
The 21-year-old forward spent time at both Lazio and Roma youth academies, with loan spells at PSV Eindhoven and PEC Zwolle.
He spent last term in Serie B with Ascoli, where he scored 13 goals in 34 games between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

This is believed to a pure loan deal with Sassuolo, in other words there is no option for buy for Pandev at the end of the Genoa season.
